I was looking up MSTing on Wikipedia and found a link to Project A.F.T.E.R. at the bottom. The first mock I read here was Episode 3.

I'm one of the 'old boys' who meet Alex (AKA MoA) on Dutchgoku's and followed him here.

YHE showed me the Bad Cosplay section. Viewing Japanimation as the second coming of the antichrist (replacing Picasso), I felt the eerie need to be assim... umm... to create an account.

I found this site one day after extensive use of Encyclopedia Dramatica. It's listed in the links section of the MST page.

I googled 'bad fanfiction' and it came up in one of the later pages.

I found out about it on Sway's forums in 2005 when I first joined it, but never actually checked it out until 2006. Since AFTER was hilarious, I decided to go see if I was missing out on anything put up on his site. I can't remember the first episode I read, but I do know that it got me hooked. I spent a good few hours reading about half of all of the posted episodes. The only things that stopped me from reading them all at once were the lack of time, my laziness, and my inability to be sitting in the same place for too long.

Word of mouth is what brought me here (from MoA on my forums). I had read a few things here and there, but I can't remember what, precisely, brought me over to the forums. We were pretty decent e-friends at that point, and if I remember right (I'm sure MoA will remember exactly what happened down to the weather in Moscow that day because he's a freak), I sent MoA a mockup of a redesign of his site, just because I was bored. Much later, he asked me to actually redesign the site, and that led to about 15 years of me getting very little done on it, but at least joining the community.

I don't really read much on the site at this point due to general busy-ness along with a lack of interest in anime, but I continue to enjoy the forums.

I was linked from Encyclopedia Dramatica, I think from their Megatokyo page to the Comic Release page for it. Read all the articles the site offered, laughed, then joined the forums.

Wow, that was a long time ago... I started exploring the internet a lot when I first came to college, since I didn't really use it much at home. I think I was looking for subtitled DragonBall Z episodes, and I somehow kept getting directed to Project AFTER's home page. That pissed me off at first, but every time I clicked on the website, I read a word or two. Eventually, I was able to read enough to see that it seemed interesting. So, I ended up staying awake the whole night reading through all the episodes. There was much shock and horror at the fanfiction, but the laughter from the commentary was well worth it. I discovered the forums a little while later, and I eventually joined.

I think it was last millenia; I'd been having an AIM conversation with an incredibly stupid person who was bemoaning the fact that Megatokyo had gotten into the hands of our beloved dictat--I mean Boss. She linked me and I...was in instant love. Mind you, this was ages ago when Starbucks didn't have a store every 1/16th of a mile and it was okay to have a varying opinion.

I was looking for some fic bitchings and this site popped up. It was the Comic Releases that really pulled me in.
