So, I thought this kind of thread would be a good idea. Basically, I was interested in learning about the TV series that the rest of you watch.

Right now I'm watching the series "Psych" for a research paper. It's decent so far, although the main character Shawn and his sidekick "Gus" are kind of annoying, I can't help but feel that they're supposed to be like that. Both of the characters seem to be a bit exaggerated on purpose.

Big Bang Theory.
Just...just watch the show. It's hilarious. Trust me.
Also, Castle. You have to suspend your disbelief a bit for the situation.

I just watched Tampopo for my Japanese Film & Literature class.

It is one of the most amazing films I have ever seen.

The 10th Kingdom.

I love this series so much. It is amazing.

The Walking Dead. It's almost as much fun to watch for the tension, character drama and zombie-splatting action as it is for the bone-headed stupidity that the main cast displays in every episode.

The only TV show I am currently watching and that I have been watching through all it's seven completed seasons is House MD. Anyone who has not seen this show has to watch it. Because it is amazing. And even better, the writing is consistently good from season to season. In fact, season eight so far might turn out to be the best of them all. Anyway, watch this. It's worth it for Hugh Laurie alone, not to mention all the other great characters.

I watch way too many cartoons and old sitcoms... As for live-action shows that are still currently airing, I like Pawn Stars, Top Gear (the British version), Deadliest Warrior, Mad Men, and The Office. I'll also catch the occasional episode of Law & Order every now and then, and I'm starting to get into Parks and Recreation (mainly because Nick Offerman is awesome).

We got something in common there. 1000 Ways to Die is always fun and has the always awesome Ron Pearlman as narrator. They had two new episodes this Halloween and the one about the rock and roll geezers is hilarious.

The Loony Toons Show and the Thundercats remake are worth seeing. Unlike most movies, animated remakes tend to do well.

A lot of reruns of Who's Line is it Anyway.
I also watch British Top Gear and Pawn Stars when they're on at work. I'm ordering Seinfeld, South Park and Beavis and Butthead on netflix because I never watched them much as a lad. Not to mention Regular Show, but that's a given.

There's a not British Top Gear? sad.gif
I've been watching American Horror Story, and that's pretty good, really weird. Also, I just finished this British show called Psychoville. That was just... weird as shit, but really funny in a fucked up way. Misfits is good, but unless you live in the UK, you can only watch it on Hulu/YouTube. Law and Order: UK is good, way better than the American crap. The Fades is decent... and also another British show.
Man, I should just move to England.

There's a US version (as well as Australian and Russian versions that I've never seen) that began airing on History last year. It pales in comparison to the British version—the challenges are largely pedestrian, the film segments lack the daring cinematic quality of the original's, and the hosts don't have half the amount of charisma or chemistry as Jeremy, Captain Slow, and The Hamster.

I fell in love with the british version the moment they drove a car through a burning building to test the AC.

I was really upset when dad told me we weren't going to have BBC America anymore.
Then I realized it was on On Demand and everything was okay again

I've been thinking of checking out BBC sometime from what I've heard about it. I'll probably check if series on that channel are available on Netflix, though.

Anyway, finished my paper on Psych, but I think I'll keep watching it anyway. I've grown to like it.

Just recently found another British show called Bedlam. It's about this apartment complex that used to be an insane asylum, and how there are a fuck ton of ghosts there.

I've been getting into Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy. He travels America finding all the neat things like soapbox derbies, the history of moon-shining (and how NASCAR racing grew from that) and having to take etiquette classes.
