I found out about this from a blog I read last month. I haven't played any of the Persona games, so I probably won't watch the anime until I at least play through Persona 4.
Anyway, here's the website for it. From what I can gather, it won't be released until the Fall of this year. The blog that I found this website on also had the trailer that was leaked on Youtube, but it's been taken down. What do you guys think about it? --------------------  |

After the last Persona anime I watched, I am more than a little skeptical about what kind of show this will be.

We discussed it a little bit in the Shin Megami Tensei topic. I'm a little skeptical, mainly because Persona 4 is already set up like an episodic anime, but I'm also excited because Persona 4 was my all-time favorite anime and it'll be fun to see that cast of characters again. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any real news since the initial announcement as far as I now.
Also, Kinomoto, you should definitely play the video game before watching the show. I think Persona 3's a better place to start, but it's not essential to enjoy Persona 4, you'll just miss a lot of the shout-outs and references. --------------------  |

Eh, I think it's okay. It seems a little fast paced, like trying to squeeze many of the game's events into one episode. Or maybe I'm just used to the game's pacing better... But the new theme "Sky's The Limit" is pretty funky.

With only 26 episodes, you can't really do much if it's based on a game that lasts roughly 60+ hours.

It may be a bit fast, but at least it's taking the time to slow down and show off some social links as episode 5 showed. Sure, it deals with the entire link in one episode, but I think that's good for pacing and focus.

Ok, I've finally watched an episode of this. It's pretty good. It follows the game without feeling forced, and I like how they intergrate alot of the social link stuff into this. Gives a more natural feeling and not disjointed from the storyline.
If there's one thing I gotta harp on, it's the voice acting. It just doesn't feel right. Then again, I didn't like the JP voices in the original game either. Hopeflly this gets the english dub.
