Given all the talk about Linkara's own bad webcomic, I thought it would be good to have a page for the reviewers/hosts on the site and since they cover all forms of media from movies to music to video games, this would be the fitting to put it here.
Random Bits... -Going back to that, I still enjoy Linkara's stuff, but I'm getting sick of the story lines and I find his girlfriend, Iron Liz, boring. -BTW, has anyone read his Revelations of the Mask comic? I've seen a few pages and it doesn't really pop out other than the Rorschach rip-off. -Spoony is going after FF X-2 sometime in April. I can't wait to see him tear into that skank-fest. -You know what the site needs? A good bad webcomic reviewer. -------------------- |

The storylines in Linkara's reviews are harmless. Can't really bring myself to be bothered by them. And I gotta say I'm impressed with the Lord Vyse costume.

The storylines in Linkara's reviews range from sorta awkward to genuinely funny. I've been watching his reviews all out of order, though, so keeping up with it isn't as easy... Got no problem with his girlfriend, but she doesn't appear to be nearly as excited as him when she appears, which kinda hurts the parts she appears in.
As for NC, I noticed that some of the reviews I've missed haven't been as funny as some of his earlier ones, but the most recent ones are pretty damned funny. Well, except for the Dungeons and Dragons one, but that may have more to do with the movie itself. Then again, he was able to make me laugh a lot in the Care Bears 2 review... As for a webcomic reviewer, maybe you could try applying, YHE. Since that's already your thing. If you ever do, you should totally pimp out The Adventures of Dr. McNinja. That comic doesn't get nearly as much love as it deserves and that saddens me. Say, can anyone tell me if Kickassia is worth watching? --------------------  |

I loved the D&D review; if anything, I think that was his most complete review in weeks. So I guess it comes down to a matter of opinion.

Here's one that has been bothering me for a while: Spoony went from good to total shit. After Phantasmagoria 2, everything just kinda sucked. There were some moments, but mostly we got treated to shitty storylines, way too much Dr. Insano and - one of the worst things right now on TGWTG - constant cameos. That's actually one of my main problems. Stop it with the fucking cameos! If I watch a Cinema Snob-video, I want to see the Cinema Snob and not the Mexican Video Game Nerd or that British Fucktard. Right now, everyone on TGWTG is guilty as hell of this. Prime example: NC's the room-review.

I personally like Kickassia, but that's probably because my favorite reviewer (Phelous) got a major role in it.

- Cameos need to get a lot rarer again. - Spoony, here's a challenge for you: Try to make as many videos in a row as possible without using Dr. Insano once. - Phelous is pretty funny, as well as most of the British contributors. This should it be for now. --------------------  Never forget. |

It just comes off as if he tries to bait his fans with Insano recently. I don't have anything against running gags in general, but there's something I like to call the "Kenny Syndrom":
1. Use joke normally. 2. Go to TVtropes, grab every word with "-verted" at the end and use it to parody the joke in some way. 3. Either stop using the joke or make it as rarely as possible. There's probably a mistake somewhere in there, but I jut don't want to see some of my favorite reviewers stagnating just so that the fanboys finance their lives via ad revenue. -------------------- Never forget. |

Shmeckie: I think Nostalgia Chick has been in a slump, too. I still love the Showgirls, Anastacia and My Little Pony (just for Nella's "pony moments") ones.
Max-Vader: I mainly watch Spoony for his FF reviews (the Tidus appearance at the end of the FF10 totally made that series.) Viashino Wizard: Phelous started off kinda week (but with potential) if you see the Funny Games review, but I really enjoy him now. MoA: I wasn't sure where to put it, but since TGWTG does a lot of various mediums, I thought this was the best option. NC can have his ups and downs and I enjoyed his recent Neverending Story 3 (can't blame him for being angry over how badly it was raped) and Carebears 2 reviews. As I said before, I'm really getting into Rap Critic (since he does something different and is good at it.) -------------------- |
