See now that makes sense to me. Don't discard the special edition entirely because of a few things that were crap. There are some sequences in there that DO add to things more. I for one think the scene where Han runs into a whole platoon of troopers instead of three or five perfectly fits his character. A badass smuggler who gets in over his head with crazy insane stunts. Plus, do you really think Han Solo would be so quick to run from five guys? No, he'd shoot them all down like they weren't nothing. But a whole room? That I can see him fleeing from.

Looks pretty interesting. Just viewing the trailer, the color correction alone looks vastly superior to the '04 DVD version. It amazes me how fans can manage to outdo the work of paid professionals on stuff like this.

I just came out of a matinee of Men in Black 3.
Oh boy...
I give the movie the following: It was better than the second one. I liked the villain depsite him being one dimensional, the time traveling idea was okay, the alien designs were nice to watch and I have to give the guy who played the younger Agent K credit, he was good. Also, you still get at least that the chemistry between Smith and Lee Jones still works.
But at the same time you really got the feeling to get old. This movie would have worked better as the second one than it did as the third one because you realized just what changed in term of style, even if the movie tried to be closer to the first one than the second did. They did not just "repeat" the stuff that was popular 14 years ago, but it really was not something mind blowing. At best this movie was a nice watch, nothing more.

The dumbest thing I got out of it was the tagged on thing with the major at the end and his relation to Agent J if you get my drift.

Is it just me or does some of the music from that Judge Dreed trailer sound like it's from Mass Effect.



It's particularly the "dun dun dun dun dun dun" music near the end with all the machine gun shooting.

It sounded like some weird mash-up of In for the Kill by La Roux and the theme from Inception. Hmm... "All movie trailer music sounds the same." Possible new meme?

It's real. Although from what I've heard and seen it's not as campy as the Stallone version. If they actually keep him in the suit for the majority of the film that will make it better.

I just finished watching "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn". I have to say the following: In regard of being an adaptation, it takes A LOT of liberties. But as a movie in general and in regard of animation, action humor and storytelling, just wow.
I really enjoyed it. Especially the final confrontation between Haddock and the main antagonist who was a badass in red suit was very well made. As siad, a lot of liberties, but I think also a modern day loveletter to Herge`S work.
