The fact that nobody bothered to spellcheck the title does not bode well for the strength of the script.

I'm both disheartened and intrigued by the number of parallels you can draw between that trailer and the recent teaser for Star Wars: Episode VII. They were both obviously designed to evoke feelings of nostalgia—"Holy shit, it's the Millennium Falcon!" vs. "Holy shit, Arnold says his classic catchphrase!"—while teasing some contemporary "improvements" to classic icons—"Whoa, Stormtroopers are all sleek and badass now!" vs. "Whoa, Sarah Connor is all sassy and girl-next-door cute now!"—and largely failing to accomplish either goal. Much like the new SW films, having yet another Terminator title on the marquee just feels forced and unnecessary. The franchise should've stopped after T3, and it should've been made illegal after Salvation.

I guess I should just be glad this is an "alternate reality" prequel and not a full-blown reboot (not that there'll be much—if any—difference in how the film is marketed).

That's the thing, regardless of what you think of the new robocop film, at least it didn't took place at the same time that the original one did, genisys has it's plot take place around the time of T1 , and having the "good guys" kill the 1986 terminator like it was a joke it's a huge slap in the face to Cameron's work, as it is Sarah cheerfully telling Reese that " they already took care of him " ,remember that this was the terminator that came the closest to killing Sarah and traumatized her to the point that she tried to destroy the T-800 helping her in T2.

Also I'm not really up for a Grandpa terminator

One more Blockbuster Sequel:

According to some sources, said hybrid is a fusion between a T-rex and the SS V-Raptor: with mix of Cephalopod and Vemon Snake DNA.

I recall having the same idea for a dinosaur when I was nine, except I think there was also shark DNA somewhere in there.

You can pretty much copy/paste my views on the Star Wars and Terminator previews for the Jurassic World trailer. I want to say I can see slightly more potential in this than the other films, but that's probably my love for Jurassic Park influencing my desire to finally see a sequel that doesn't take a shit in the mouth of the original. There are red flags everywhere in that trailer, the biggest one being the quality of the script. God bless Chris Pratt for doing everything you could reasonably expect an actor to do with those lines, but there's just nothing there for him to work with.

Alright.
So.
You take this

this

this

and this

to make the 'ultimate dino.'
I might see it when it releases, so hopefully it won't look like the lovechild of a T. rex and Godzilla.

I guarantee you that they will not make another 'Zilla'. Also, it is confirmed that its name is Diabolus Rex.

Diablous.... Rex?
So it's basically Dino Satan.
Why.
Also I think I saw concept art of it.

EDIT: This may or may not be it. It's only concept art.

EDIT 2: Found this from a tweet by @JurassicWorldFr

I think I stick with the less ridiculous thing. Like Frieza coming back from the dead and starting an all out invasion on earth after wishing to be immortal

It looks like a Carnotaurus. Why did they make the hybrid resemble an actual dinosaur?

Carnotaurus actually popped up in the book version of "The Lost World," where (in the fine tradition of JP) Crichton gave it a super-special ability he pulled out of his ass, in this case a Predator-esque camouflaging ability.

I never saw the third one; I've been told it was better than the second one, which wouldn't be hard. Still, we have the original. A flawed piece, to be sure, but the dinosaur stuff makes me grin like a retarded crack baby every time. The fact that the CGI and other effects have held up decades later shows that they knew damn well how important they were to the success of the movie. If the effects hadn't been so good, my inner critic would've had a field day. Instead, every time it spoke my inner child told it to shut up because the dinosaurs were on again, and damned if it didn't listen.

I hate to sound like a fanboy, but is it so fucking hard to have a goddamn vampire movie where the fucking Vampires aren't faggots of the highest order brooding on and on about how immortality sucks and shit? What happened to the ruthless creatures of the night who seduced and fed on virgins? I can only imagine how they'll fuck up Gillman if they bring him into this shit. I can bet you that they'll make the Wolfman a Jacob wannabe.

I hear that 28 Days of Night was more like that (where a bunch of a feral vampires attack a town that will be dark for 28 days).

So I know that they've been out for a while, but I finally got around to renting The Boxtrolls and Guardians of the Galaxy. I've seen people on tumblr get annoyed about both films, so I shouldn't have been surprised at how good both movies were. But I was! They were both excellent movies. I especially enjoyed Boxtrolls, mostly because it was cute and original and cute and stop motion and cute, and those are all things I enjoy. =3

Is it bad I wanna say that he sticks out like a sore thumb in this movie? I admit to being bias because I immediately thought of that Futurama episode, but he just looks so out place. It's weird.

Though it does have Peter Dinklage in it, so I may just watch him with the hopes of him going Game of Thrones on this movie.

This made me laugh harder than the movie itself possibly could.

It's a really fun premise when you're talking about a three-minute short, but as a ninety-plus-minute feature film...? I just don't see how it could possibly have the legs. That said, I predict this being more watchable than that Tetris movie they announced a while back.

Nice to see that Peter Dinklage, as well as Aaron Paul, are squandering their credibility with trash based off of video games.

Much as I like Adam Sandler (except Jack and Jill, fuck that shit), I feel like this movie is ruined because of....well, him.

Although I like that Pacman guy, he's so hammy and over the top biggrin.gif.
