 This contest's winning caption is... Consider one Richard Niedermeyer. A typical nerd, with typical desires. On this day, his unrequited love interest, Samantha Bressler, convinced him to dress up in a horrible costume supposed to represent her favorite cartoon. See it from the bright side people: At least porn of those characters won`t make you kill yourself for looking at lolicon.
After Sailor Moon and Detective Conan, now also Disgaea will get a live action adaptation. It will be called "Suburban Knights Japan Edition" and a lot of LARPers will be embarassed by it. That or they will embrace it, because the actors look better than your average larper in term of their body index. When Laharl hit puberty, he grew hair first on his legs then his chest. Also he started to look silly in his old robe. Sorry for the delay on starting the voting phase, folks. I'm afraid I'm responsible for quite a boner. In fact, it might be one of the biggest boners ever seen on this forum. I'm not even attempting to hide it; for the sake of honesty, I'm putting my boner right out in the open where everyone can see it. This week has been such an ordeal with all that's been going on in my life both online and off that the CCC slipped my mind entirely. By the time I remembered the contest was still running, it was already the weekend again. At this point, I think the simplest solution is to extend the duration of the contest an extra week and pretend we had an usually long submission phase. While this huge boner of mine is no doubt the focus of everyone's thoughts right now, I can only hope it will be forgotten in time.

That's a wrap, everybody. I see we had a pretty decent voter turnout this past week, so thanks to everyone who took a moment to support their favorite caption. Deceiver absolutely dominated this competition, proving that you boys and girls really do like captions that are longer and meatier than their competitors. Well done, 'D'!
Unfortunately, the technical issues continue to pile on. I didn't have access to the internet on Saturday, and right now I'm on my laptop, which means I can't get to my sweet collection of crappy cosplay images. Since the month of August has been so gosh darn unfriendly to the CCC so far, I'm going to hold off starting the next one until September. All my shit should be worked out by then, so we can start fresh and forget about all this unpleasantness.
