So, had an odd dream, but no one to share it with? Welcome to the dream thread, where you can post your dreams in all of their TL;DR glory.
I'll start with my long-ass dream from last night. It's the first day of school - huzzah, high school! Brand new place I've never been to before! ...But this place doesn't look like Joplin High School. It looks like the bastard child of JHS and the Japanese take on a European school. But it's school - so why not go on in? I go inside, only to realize that I have no supplies at all. Apparently, school arrived so quickly, I had no time to go out and buy a new binder and some pencils. So I try to change what floor I'm on, only to discover the familiar stairs of JHS are gone - and replaced with a highly-dangerous pulley system that is outside the building. I get on it and nearly lose a finger. So I ditch the weird high school and run east, to the J-14 News building, which instead of being connected to the school, is a separate building by itself about 100 yards from the school. Weird. I go inside, and... why does the interior look like the set of a Scooby-Doo episode? I wander around, and who do I run into? Zombie Michael Jackson. I run away from him as the Scooby-Doo theme starts up, myself singing to it in perfect pitch. As soon as I get away from him, I go down some stairs (although the building is one story with no basement) and run into Dr. Stein from Soul Eater. He draws the blinds in the room and explains to me a problem going on at the main school building through a slideshow, which I somehow comprehend. I choose to go back to the main school building to see what's up. The school and setting in general is completely different now. The school has turned into a large bronze church with two-story windows on the front, and it looks amazing. I step inside and go to the auditorium, which looks like the interior of a church, and instead of running into any students, I run into Simon and Nia from TTGL. For some odd reason, young LordGenome appears in front of Nia, causing everything to explode. So we, with a bunch of students, run out as the windows explode inward, even though the explosion was inside. First part of the dream is now over. I am suddenly in a large house filled with different kinds of people (even my dead friend Clay, who I kiss for no reason), and the house is rather technicolor at night and covered in Christmas lights. Everyone is acting like they're getting prepped for a concert, so I follow suit. I get outside, and there is my sister's old car, a 1964 Ford Falcon named Puffy. I hop in the shotgun seat and drive from there. I swerve in the morning light and miss my exit, even though I slam on the brakes. So as I follow the road, I end up on a mist-covered rocky road, where two policemen and two Gundam-like robots await me. I get out of the car and get on the ground and bow, showing that I have no weapons and that I mean no harm. The police shoot me anyways, yet the bullets seem to not hurt. So I look up, and someone shouts "The bomb!" Everything in the area (including myself) is vaporized and everything turns white. All of the sudden, I'm back at the technicolor house. I drive again on the road and take my exit (spinning out of control and nearly crashing), but I make it. So I turn around and leave and follow the road to the misty one, and there's nobody there except a semi with a smiling lady waving at me happily. Second part of the dream is now over. I'm in a humid jungle, and it's hot. I follow a small dirt path, and I'm launched onto a weird, insane highway, paved with different things at different parts (at one point paved with soft grass). There is a river that the highway flings you over, and every time I get flung over, I collect a coupon for 67% off at some store. I get four of these before I come to a stop. I'm at a place that looks like the technicolor house, and it's nighttime. I am assigned into a team, and all the teams are set to make informal videos about haunted houses. The people I'm with can't operate a computer worth a crap, so I wander around the building aimlessly. I find Chrona from Soul Eater, bawling it's eyes out (and wearing a shirt that makes it looks like it has boobs from some angles). I try to find out what's wrong, but it keeps running from me. When I catch it, I'm by the door of the opposing team - so I grab Chrona by the shirt collar and run. That's it, that's my dream. No, I don't do drugs. The only thing that could possibly have triggered this is the fact that I took three Actifed (adult dosage is one) before bed. TL;DR - Meow Mix trips balls for no reason in her dreams. -------------------- wait they legalized gay marriage i thought they legalized hay marriage what am i gonna do with this bale of hay |

I once dreamed I punched Hitler in the face. Then I woke to to find out it was only Stalin.

I think the most disturbing dream I ever had was the one where I was watching a documentary on this family. So the teenage brother is having sex with his twelve-year-old sister, only she talks like she's twenty. Then there mom catches them, only it turns out their dad married a swan. And then had human babies. Then the girl had a conversation with her vagina's reflection, and it talked back.
I still don't know where the hell that came from. -------------------- QUOTE (TigerEyes) Change is mandatory. It's progress that's optional. That's not going to endear you to certain members, y'know... I once dreamed that I was beating the shit out of the guy my ex-girlfriend cheated on me with/left me for/was ironically dumped by in a more-or-less same manner. Halfway through, he turned into somebody else. I don't remember who, but it was a black actor. Samuel L. Jackson and Avery Brooks come to mind... ...anyway, I asked "What are you doing here; where's the other guy?" And he says "He got up and left. I'm his replacement." So I shrugged and just went back at it. Then there was that time I used my godlike powers to kill Omega Ridley with one shot. I once dreamt that I was eating a giant marshmallow, and when I woke up, I was holding my pillow over a dead prostitute's face!

Aug 4 2009, 11:47 PMQUOTE (The Hutch @ Aug 5 2009, 02:38 AM) I once had a dream that I was falling to my death, and I couldn't stop. This happened after I was knocked unconscious while sky diving Man, that must have been scary... In a similar vein, I remember that after my arm got that huge second-degree burn, I had dreams of boiling hot water pouring all over me. A large portion of my dreams involve me running from something or someone, and there's usually someone I'm with (my sister(s), a friend, etc.) that I'm protecting at the same time. Also, I fly a lot in my dreams. Love it~! This post has been edited by TigerEyes: Aug 4 2009, 11:48 PM -------------------- "He only profits from praise who values criticism." - Heinrich Heine

In my dreams I can fly (at least for a a while). One of the weirdest I had was when I was a teenager and was the prosecutor for the trial (which was held at the church I went at the time) for trying King Tut's murderers. So I used a time machine to gather some evidence from his murder scene, put it in a gym page, brought it to the judge and won the trail. Then Tut's ghost appeared, thanking me for putting his spirit to rest and kissed me.

I once had a dream that I went around killing zombies with only a block of wood and some string. I also once had a dream where I teamed up with Billy Mays in a battle to defeat Satan.
I also have recurring dreams like where I can fly in space, destroy everything in sight, and kill the Jonas Brothers. -------------------- ![]() "The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.” There is only one god, and his name is Death. Whenever I remember my dreams, I write them down when I wake up. I usually get my story ideas from them.
Speaking of BILLY MAYS. He made a guest appearance in one of my dreams years ago. He was a scientist reverse engineering on some alien artifact and was amazingly quiet. Last night as I was falling asleep, I had a dream that I was putting the dishes away, and I accidentally dropped one of the small plates. I jolted awake before it hit the ground.
