Just as the topic says, whip em' out!
Now granted, my history with fighting games I would own pretty much started with the PS1. I do have a few on earlier systems, but I have since found other versions that are more arcade faithful. But there are a few honorable mentions in the pre-CD based economy. Game Boy Battle Arena Toshinden (Surprisingly good for a portable on the Gameboy.) Neo Geo Pocket Color Match of the Millennium Samurai Showdown 2 King of Fighters R-2 Gals Fighter Hon Mention: Both versions of "Card Fighters CLash", the original and ultimate of Fighting Game card fighters. PS1 Street Fighter Alpha 2 Street Fighter Alpha 3 Evil Zone Rival Schools KoF 95 KoF 99 Capcom vs SNK Pro Marvel vs Capcom Guilty Gear Street Fighter EX Plus A Ehergeiz Bushido Blade 2 Batle Arena Toshinden 3 Darkstalkers 3 Tekken 3 Samurai Showdown: Warrior's Rage Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi Hon Mention: Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo Dreamcast Psychic Force 2012 (Wierd, weird game, up there with Evil Zone in odd) Power Stone Dead or Alive 2 Soul Calibur Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves Marvel vs Capcom 2 Capcom vs SNK PS2 Fatal Fury Battle Archives 1&2 KoF 00/01 KoF 02/03 KoF XI NeoGeo Battle Coliseum World Heroes Anthology Samurai Showdown Anthology Capcom vs SNK 2 Marvel vs Capcom 2 Capcom Fighting Evolution Guilty Gear X2 Arcana Heart KoF Maximum Impact KoF 2006 Soul Calibur 2 Soul Calibur 3 Tekken Tag Tournament X Box SVC Chaos Dead or Alive 3 Wii Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Tatsunoko vs Capcom Super Smash Bros. Wow. That's a pretty darn nice collection you've got there, Dean. I didn't know you were that big of a fighting game aficionado.
Like yourself, I got into fighters a little bit later—for me, it was during the twilight days of the Dreamcast era that my interest in the genre really flourished. Since then, I've gone back and forth between picking up new titles and collecting some of the older classics (not to mention a handful of duds). Now that I actually have the whole of my collection written down in front of me, it kind of amazes me that I ever had time to play all of these as much as I did... Dreamcast Capcom vs. SNK King of Fighters: Dream Match 1999 Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Power Stone Project Justice Soul Calibur Street Fighter III: Double Impact Street Fighter Alpha 3 PS1 Bushido Blade Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 Guilty Gear Gundam Battle Assault 2 Inuyasha Mortal Kombat Trilogy PS2 Guilty Gear XX Slash [Import] Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus King of Fighters XI NeoGeo Battle Coliseum Street Fighter Anniversary Collection Super Dragon Ball Z Tekken 5 Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection [Import] Xbox 360 BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger BlazBlue: Continuum Shift BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match King of Fighters XII King of Fighters XIII Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Soul Calibur 4 Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo: HD Remix Tekken 6 Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram Handheld Systems Bleach: Dark Souls (DS) Darkstalkers Chronicle (PSP) Guilty Gear Judgment (PSP) King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood (GBA) Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (GBA) Sonic Battle (GBA) Tekken: Dark Resurrection (PSP) I also own all three Smash Bros. games for their respective systems, plus Samurai Shodown 2 on the Wii Virtual Console. -------------------- ![]() You needn't worry about anything. Yeah, I was never into fighters until I found a Neo Geo cabinet in an arcade with World Heroes and Samurai Showdown. But back at you, that's a nice collection. Shame beyond Smash Bros. we probably couldn't have a match. Now excuse me while I drool over your copy of "Project Justice".
*Proceeds* Anyway I didn't know we were counting Virtua On games. I have Ontario Tangram for the Dreamcast (And quite frankly with it's control scheme it suuuuucks). I also have Virtua On Marz for the PS2. Also I forgot this one, but it's understandable that I do. I have "Castlevania, Judgement". At $1 I couldn't not take a chance. ANd for that price it's not terrible. I also hae a few oter fighters on some other compilations, like some Mortal Kombat games on a Midway Treasures collection and the Genesis version of Virtua Fighter 2 on another compilation, which has no right to exist. -------------------- The forgotten member of the "Tribe of Spoon"

I've been playing fighting games since I was five. However I've been branching out and trying other fighting series lately. I should really pick up KOF XIII when I get the chance.

Jun 16 2012, 09:07 PMN64 Dark Rift Mace Mortal Kombat Trilogy Super Smash Bros War Gods Haha, I had forgotten about all of these until you mentioned them. Man, the N64 had so many crappy 3D fighting games... Though I heard Mace wasn't too bad, supposedly. If we're counting game collections with multiple titles, then I also own all of the fighters included in Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (most notable for featuring fan-favorite Pit-Fighter). -------------------- ![]() You needn't worry about anything.
