I can't help but notice it's no longer a non-profit fan based parody...

Also I fucking love how they're depicting Cell.

It had its moments (Joey winning offscreen, Mai's practical joke, the bit with Marik and Yami....) Still it was just meh overall. He should just skip the Doma arc, do the Millennium World arc and end it. His hearts not in it anymore, and it should end while he still has some creativity left (The simpsons passed its prime by 1999 but if it ended in 2005, after the movie or even in 2011 they might have been able to end with some small level of grace.)

One thing I did notice is that when Yami tries the "ghost of a chance" joke yugi says "It doesn't work in this context" followed by yami tell him to shut up. Cody made a similar argument in the podcast, so I'm wondering if Little Kuriboh heard the podcast (probably not but still).

You can always count on TFS to be able to dredge up and reference the most obscure DBZ factoids.

Where did they reference that?

As a commercial jingle that Yamcha sang before the Android Saga because he needed the money. Piccolo later reads Tien's mind and catches him repeating it to himself. TFS released it as a ringtone. It's pretty catchy.

...does anyone else agree that LittleKuriboh's Naruto parody is terrible? The last one had some ten seconds of Naruto pissing on-screen.

I know Naruto is a horrible series, but this parody is even worse somehow.

LK's Naruto parodies typically involve a lot of in-jokes/jabs at people you probably don't know of if you only watch Yugioh Abridged. That being said, there's typically a lot of really funny things in it as well, and the nice thing about the series is that LK will often put in some pretty outlandish or experimental jokes that he wouldn't dare use in Yugioh TAS. LK's a funny enough dude, when he tries, but you have to admit that Yugioh's gotten pretty "safe" as far as comedy goes, so it's nice to see him think outside of the box for Nurutu.

Couple of days late, but Hellsing Ultimate Abridged ep.5 is love. A-fucking-men.

Hats off to Team Four Star; that was one of the better episodes they've done in a while. The joke at 1:32 got me to laugh out loud.

I really love what they've been doing with Cell's personality so far, and the androids have been a lot of fun. Here's hoping they can keep up this momentum!

Agreed. Which is great, 'cause he's always been my favorite DBZ character!

Anybody else think it's funny that the only Bruce Faulconer music they've been using consistently is Imperfect Cell's theme?

It was one of Falconer's best tracks, after all.

The ending credits gag went on for way too long and did nothing for me, but the first eight minutes were almost unfairly funny. Watching PurpleEyes write jokes is like watching somebody blindly throw a basketball in the general direction of a hoop and sinking shot after shot without it ever touching the rim.
