Ah, yeah, we were at toys r us for some reason and I saw 225 and I was like "Shmeckie said to read this shit" I got about halfway through, but good stuff.

I didn't know Archie has a megaman comic too....

And yes, the Mega Man comic is also written by Flynn, which means it too is riddled with nods to the fanbase (when storming Wily's fortress, Mega Man runs from the Big Eyes, refusing to fight them--just like every kid did who played that stage in Mega Man 1. The announcers from Battle and Chase show up as reporters, to boot), and is also terrifically written, if a bit rushed (lol pun). That's understandable, though, considering it's just trying to kick-start the series.

I like seeing the robot masters have personality, you know? And it's kinda cool that Dr. Light calls him Rock, at least from what I read. Then again, I always liked the classic series more.

As for sonic, I spent more time going "Who the hell are you people?" I saw Sally and Sonic and useless hammer girl, but there were a lot of new faces too.

Ten bucks says when the comic reaches Mega Man 2, Air Man is going to be ridiculously powerful, and Metal Man will get sliced in half with his own weapon, taken out in one hit.

That would be really funny! But I kinda hope they take their time when they get there, so far they seem to be blazing through the Robot Masters pretty fast. <_<;

Oh, and I'm not sure...I barely remember it...so don't take my word fully for it, but I think Cut Man actually drops a few puns from the old USA cartoon during his fight.

I think they're just blazing through Mega Man 1, so it can get to the formula of "Wily builds 8 Robot Masters to try and take over the world." Plus I'll bet you Flynn wants to make the MM1 Robot Masters regular characters, and wants to build his supporting cast as quickly as possible.

What I'm really interested in is what he does with Dr. Cossack, but that's my love of 4 talking.

As for making the Light robots recurring characters, I'm pretty sure they became protagonists of sorts in Megamix, but obviously that's a different writer and a different series.

Finally got my hands on 226...

I don't know what I was expecting to have happened after Eggman enveloped the world in that white light from the Death Egg, but I sure as hell wasn't expecting that...! Not in a bad way, of course, but I'm still not quite sure what to make of it all. And I sure as hell can't figure out what's going on. Though that's the idea, I suppose.

I kinda-sorta should've expected something like this, what with the title of this story arc, and all.

TOLD you! Yeah, that shit was great. 230 was both epic, and had it's funny moments (Eggman pressing the button after the time rewind, and the look on his face when it didn't work and he kept pressing it).

Not to forget the cliffhanger at the end. I really didn`t expect that.
I must admit, that was a nice surprise I read there (thing is, germany, I am lucky to even get one issue of the comics at my shops because someone now has it in his own abo) but also in general, this genesis arc was good. Nice tribute to all the old Sonic games as well as the time, where the Freedom Fighters were a bit simpler. Well, time to get a few more issues.... say, form which number would you suggest I should start, regarding the "latest" issues? By that I mena, what should I really avoid in regard of storyarcs?
