In honor of the fast-approaching milestone of one hundred installments of the Cosplay Caption Contest, I've decided to host a competition where contest winners will go head-to-head in the ultimate battle royale of elite caption creation! If you think you have what it takes to write the greatest caption of all and stand alone atop the golden pedestal of total victory, then read on to find out how to compete and what awaits the last caption author standing...
A Tournament of Caption Champions The "CCCountdown to 100" competition will be a battle among the best of the best—it is an invitation-only event where entry is granted exclusively to those who have proven themselves worthy in the arena of cosplay caption combat. Seven champions from seven contests will have their achievements pitted against each other in a no-holds-barred free-for-all clash where the bloodthirsty masses will decide who lives and who dies! The premise is simple: The winning captions from CCC #94 through CCC #100 will be brought together in ONE POLL where members from across the entire forum will be asked to cast their vote for the very best. The caption that wins the public's favor and receives the most votes after one week will be crowned the victor, and its author will know eternal glory as he or she is showered with praise... And twenty dollars of free money to spend on whatever. They. Fucking. Want! Seven Contests... Seven Winners... Seven Days... ONE Ultimate Champion. The Spoils of War In addition to the honor of being permitted to stand upon the hallowed battlefield of true warriors in the Poll of Caption Contest Victories, the one who wins the bloody skirmish and emerges from the chaos with the most votes will come to know a triumph the likes of which will poison the Gods of Captioning with envy. They will be the target of endless accolades and rise to immortality as their username is remembered forever. While they continue to walk the face of this world, they will do so as the owner of untold riches; to their name will be sent a twenty dollar Amazon.com digital gift card!  A treasure most marvelous! How can YOU enter the 'CCCountdown to 100' competition? Simply win one of the Cosplay Caption Contests between #94 and #100 and your winning caption will be automatically entered into the final poll which will take place immediately following the conclusion of CCC #100. NOTE: Competitors who win multiple contests during the specified period will be given the option of either entering all of their winning captions OR one winning caption of their choice to avoid being potentially handicapped by multiple entries splitting the votes. In conventions, at fan clubs, in the streets, on the internet. I love every aspect of cosplay that takes place on this earth. Gentlemen, I desire a cosplay that is like hell." - Dr. O CCC #96 Winning Caption  DAHRING DAHRING PREEAAASE drown in a well and never trouble me again. - Al_Cone CCC #97 Winning Caption  Tragedy was averted when, moments after this photo was taken, the Jaws of Life malfunctioned and scissored the cosplayer in half. - Deceiver CCC #98 Winning Caption  There was that one time Charlie Sheen was so stoned that he willingly went to an anime convention. Ladies and gentlemen, the Cosplay Caption Coliseum is now OPEN! With the conclusion of the 100th CCC, we at last have our final selection of winning entries. It's an excellent batch to be sure, and I offer my congratulations all the captioneers who have made it this far.
In accordance with the contest rules, Dr. O has chosen to only enter one of his two winning captions in the final poll. Therefore, spectators will have a total of six winning captions for which they may cast their votes. All of the winning captions along with their target images are on display in the post above this one for easy reference. The outcome of the final battle is now in your hands, loyal PA Forumites! Please review the entries and cast your vote for the caption you feel is most worthy of achieving total victory.
