This contest's winning caption is... The Japanese A-Team after their successful rescue of Santa Claus. Congratulations, Waffleman! --------------------  You needn't worry about anything. Cosplay Jack Harkness has found some interesting Torchwood recruits.
Time travelers should study up on modern culture more. This reminds me of that one movie I saw where some guy cosplayed as Santa Clause then assassinated Abraham Lincoln in a theater. It was very avant-garde. |

Although Christmas and the submission phase for this contest are now over, I think both events taught us some important lessons about selflessness and goodwill that none of us will soon forget. Great job on the captions, everybody. I decided to nominate an extra caption for a total of seven finalists and there were still a couple of awesome entries that didn't quite make the cut. I wish you could all be winners; unfortunately, contests don't work that way. Still, you should all be proud for helping to make this such a very special installment of the CCC.
Now go shove a vote up there in the poll wherever it'll fit, and we'll all meet back here on Saturday to see who got the most attention. Okay folks, that's a wrap. Short and sweet was definitely a popular theme with voters this time around, and Waffleman's tidy approach to caption composition earned him his second consecutive CCC victory. Congratulations, W-man! Keep up the good work and one day you just might escape the incompetent reputation you earned for that misplaced comma in one of your early posts that everyone in the entire world noticed but never pointed out to you.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest.
