I know in Elena's win pose (the one where she does a hand stand) she has a camel toe.

It's nothing in comparison to Cammy's.
Fuck, why was she not in Street Fighter 3? Or Sakura? |

Dec 12 2007, 11:00 PMQUOTE (The Hutch @ Dec 13 2007, 01:50 AM) Sakura up and went to being a teacher, and Cammy... appeared in Chun Li's SF3 ending. Really, SF3 was trying to do what Garou did to Fatal Fury, not have any characters except maybe one or two. They fucked up at that, obviously. -------------------- ![]() |

Eh, no loss for me. I was never a huge nut about the characters in Street Fighter, nor was I ever one to fawn over fighting game girls.
Now replacing M. Bison with Gill, that was a travesty. Gill was cool, and all, but following the classic M. Bison? Pales. -------------------- |

Dec 13 2007, 01:14 AMQUOTE (Shmeckie @ Dec 13 2007, 01:18 AM) Eh, no loss for me. I was never a huge nut about the characters in Street Fighter, nor was I ever one to fawn over fighting game girls. I don't particularly mind the new characters, although it always irked me a little bit that so many of the SF3 characters were just basically clones of characters from previous installments with new looks and personalities. Hugo plays similar to Zangief, Dudley plays similar to Balrog, Necro plays similar to Dhalsim, Yun and Yang play similar to Gen, Remy plays really similar to Guile, etc. It's less noticeable because the SF3 engine is so different from all the other SF games, but still, come on Capcom, think up some new move-lists for your characters. There are fewer "palette swap" characters in King of Fighters, and that series has like five times as many characters as every SF game combined. -------------------- ![]() You needn't worry about anything. Eh, I think Necro was Dhalsim and Blanka fused, which I find is awesome. Stretching AND electricity? Sign me up.
Also Dudley only plays kinda like Balrog, more grace and whatnot. Not sure about Hugo, seeing as I've always seen him more of a rush down character then Zangief. Yun and Yang are the "Chinese Kung Fu characters" so they play like Gen/Fei-Long. And Remy... Well, they need a charge command character like Guile so... My only gripe with SF3 is that there are 4 (5 counting Shin Akuma) Shotocunts. As cool as the new characters are, you don't need Ryu, Ken, Akuma and Sean. Pick one or two and stick with 'em. -------------------- ![]() |

Well, the SF3 characters don't play exactly the same as their counterparts, but like I said, that's partially due to the difference in the way the game's engine works. My point is that, when you have a game with only 20 playable characters (only 12 in the original SF3), and it's the sequel to a game with only 17 playable characters, and both games only have 4 characters in common, you'd expect to see more fresh designs in the aforementioned sequel. I think the only reason Capcom didn't just import the entire cast of SF2 was because they figured people were getting sick of them after so many expansions to SF2, plus cameos in the Alpha series, so instead they simply changed some of the characters' names and appearances and slightly altered their movesets.
To put it another way, there are over 90 characters in the King of Fighters universe (not counting the 3D games), and within that massive roster, there are less clones and palette swaps than there are in the complete roster of the Street Fighter universe, which doesn't even contain half as many characters as KOF. -------------------- ![]() You needn't worry about anything. Really, only the characters you listed play alot like whoever, there still is the likes of Oro, Urien, Gill, Twelve and Q.
Though I hate how SF4 is going to between SF2 and 3, and isn't going to have any SF3 originals... -------------------- ![]() |

Oh, gosh. I just found another Pit.
Fan Works Inc. It's like fanfiction.net, only fewer people, dumber fanfiction, horrible site formatting, and you can still post NC-17 fiction on it. I'd say that a redeeming quality is that you can still post MSTs on it, but most of those people seem to not know jack-shit about being funny. -------------------- "Ye cats, those televangelists from the '90s were right all along!"

Wow... I figured that was some new fanfiction site that's popped up just recently, but the hit counter claims the site has been around since 1998. The fact that it's still active is pretty impressive, I guess, but it seems to be just another obscure story archive that's basically a dumping ground for stuff that even FanFiction.net wouldn't accept.
I recommend taking a look through the MST3K section, though, if only to get a better idea of why I'm so adamantly opposed to using the term "MST" when referring to anything on PA. Man oh man... "Mystery Baklava Theater". Well that's just fucking adorable. -------------------- ![]() You needn't worry about anything. I have waited for this movie since I saw Batman Begins!
