This here is a mini-review from a FIMFiction author named "Skywriter" that mostly matches my opinion:

So I finally decided to cave in and watch a couple full episodes of Mulp: Fim like Shmeckie did.

It's not bad.

I wouldn't call it good, but it's a cute, inoffensive cartoon that will please the youngsters while their parents make a run for the liquor cabinet.

I give it a resounding "Meh, s'all right"

The pink one needs to shut the hell up, though.

Pinkie has her moments. The one with the time traveling Twilight has her in a decent supporting role, and the writers like to use her obnoxiousness intentionally when the script calls for it.

Pinkie Pie has really only been likable in two episodes at most. The episodes about her are, in my opinion, among the weakest.

I was going to say something about how Andrea Libman actually does a good job with Fluttershy and how suggesting that she should be fired is an overreaction, but then I remembered that it can't be too hard to voice her when she only gets like two lines an episode on average.
